‘The 2nd Annual EB-5 Finance and Investment Forum’ is drawing U.S. commercial real estate developers, immigration attorneys, investment bankers, EB-5 executives, private bankers, and venture capitalists, among others, to be educated on the latest happenings in the EB-5 Regional Center Program. The March 20, 2012 Miami conference will be centered on the Immigrant Investor Program, a 1990 initiative of the U.S. Congress. This program, which is more widely known as ‘EB-5,’ seeks to stimulate the U.S. economy through job creation and capital investment from wealthy immigrants, while providing those immigrants a practical green card alternative. The program has been a growing success, with much foreign investment pouring in from China, Korea, and the U.K. In the past five years, more than $ 3 billion of foreign capital have been invested into the U.S. through EB-5, creating thousands of jobs in a variety of industries. The Forum aims to help U.S. companies and individuals tap into more of this international investment capital.
This years day-long event will feature some of the most experienced and knowledgeable professionals from the EB-5 Regional Center Program and the foreign investment industry.
