Me in front of another house I can’t afford–Ernest Hemingway’s Key West property. Even for a writer, the guy had impressive digs–a whole acre of land with four separate buildings! The tour guide said it was the largest residential lot on the island and that a comparable property sold for million a few years ago. I wonder how the hell Hemingway could’ve afforded this given the reading population was so much smaller than now and he wasn’t exactly James Patterson or John Grisham in sales either.

Tampa, FL (PRWEB) February 16, 2012

PREO, LLC., developer of turnkey loss mitigation technology solutions for the mortgage and real estate industries, today announced the appointment of Heather Guerin as the companys president effective immediately.

Guerin, who most recently served as senior vice president of operations, is charged with leading PREO in its mission to expedite the disposition of servicers non-performing assets by more rapidly turning abandoned and distressed properties, back into family homes.

Our products are designed to meet the challenges faced by the mortgage servicing and real estate industries and Heather understands those needs like no one else, said James Albertelli, PREO founder and CEO. I am excited to have Heather as president and am confident her leadership skills and tremendous industry insight will materially strengthen and propel PREO into the next stages of growth and success.

Prior to joining PREO, Guerin served as vice president of loss mitigation at OneWest Bank, where she was responsible for managing the short sale and deed in lieu departments. Guerin is also experienced in real estate having been a highly regarded, top producing Keller Williams agent.

PREOs comprehensive technology-based solutions enable our customers to increase the ROI or NPV of cash received from the REO process while simultaneously helping the current defaulting homeowner gain meaningful relief, said Guerin. I am excited to have joined PREO at such a unique economic time and look forward to working together with our employees, servicers and agents to provide and implement real solutions for our nations mortgage crisis.

About PREO, LLC.

PREO was created by real estate, foreclosure and bankruptcy attorney James E. Albertelli, Esq. to be the complete default marketplace. Over 15 years of representing lenders and servicers in judicial and non-judicial states, Mr. Albertelli obtained a wealth of knowledge about the shortcomings of the traditional methods of foreclosing and selling property. He sought to design a better way to increase the ROI or the NPV of cash received from the REO process and at the same time help the current defaulting homeowner to gain meaningful relief. Out of those concerns, PREO was born.

WHAT: Trunkey loss mitigation solutions for the liquidation of REO and pre-foreclosure inventory

WHO: Bringing together lenders, buyers, homeowners, and real estate agents

WHY: Because short sales can be completed more quickly and easily

HOW: By using technology to simplify/standardize processes, and providing market clarity to pricing

PREO is headquartered in Tampa, Florida. For more information visit http://www.PREO.com.

Between a Hollywood superstar and a voice actor, the latter realistically works harder. It is quite tough for a voice actor to put feelings and emotions to what he is reading, all the while knowing that he’s not seen on screen. He must jump into the skin of the character and pump life into the dialogues. This is where voice over training comes into play.

Voice over training helps voice actors understand the craft and find gainful employment in a growing area. Thousands of animated TV shows, cartoons, radio advertisements, web shows and movies are produced on a regular basis. Take note that about 20 to 30 characters make up the cast of just one movie or TV show. The prospects for a voice talent basically abound internationally.

Basic skills required to join a voice over training course

One of the most important tools of the trade is diction. The student must have perfect enunciation and for that reason must attend speech classes to get his diction properly. Every voice over actor has two roles to fulfill – “lending voice” and “acting.” This means that acquiring a perfect diction is not enough to be able to join a voice over training, enrolling in an acting course is also essential for the student.

What’s taught in a voiceover training program

The student learns how to evaluate and interpret commercial copy for announcer and real-person roles. Interpreting narrative copy, as well as technical copy, are learned as well. The course teaches the student how to proficiently coordinate mind, mouth and voice so that he can sound true to his character. The student also learns how to take direction.

A great voice actor training program makes students read, record, play back, listen, and then do it repeatedly until they get it right. Students learn techniques such as inflection, timing and articulation. They perform warm-ups and vocal exercises as well. They figure out how to preserve their vocal fitness. When students are already half-way into the voice over training course, they become skilled at using and adjusting pitch, tone, volume and delivery speed to cater to various types of jobs.

After the main training is over, students learn how to promote their skills, tap the right contacts, and get voice over work. The course instructors also help them produce a voice over demo for their portfolio. An opportunity to experience working in a real studio is offered in a solid voice over training course for students. They also learn what the do’s and don’ts are whenever they are behind the microphone or in a sound booth.

Choosing a voice over training course

There are two facets to voice training. A commercial voice over course must be opted for by students who are interested in selling. Commercial voice overs are employed for selling. Several of the areas that call for this type of voice overs are radio ads, TV advertisements, phone and other media features. Selling skills are also covered by a voice over course since all commercial voice overs sell a service or a product. This course does not include acting skills. Students who are interested in showbiz must decide on a TV and movie voice over and dubbing course. Lip-synching is needed by such courses, hence, the voice over talent also needs to master acting skills.

To conclude, all the world’s a stage and we must play a part. So, if you want to play your part as a voice actor, enroll for a well-known voice actor training course and learn how to raise your voice.

by 68photobug

Most homeowners purchase insurance to cover their most expensive and valuable asset. Certain areas of the country present special challenges because of the terrain and weather that increase risk of ownership. Florida residents face special challenges when attempting to purchase sufficient insurance coverage at affordable rates. Knowing the special coverage types required and what insurance packages are offered by Florida Home Insurance providers is the best way to protect your home.

Every Florida home insurance policy must cover sinkhole damage. A sinkhole will open when limestone dissolves and creates an underground cavern that becomes progressively weaker until the ceiling collapses and opens to the surface. Certain areas of Florida are more vulnerable and homeowners must be aware of the rate differences when purchasing homeowners insurance.

Hurricane coverage is another special coverage for Florida homeowners. Most homeowners will carry deductibles up to 3% of the homes value to offset exorbitant insurance premiums. Saving for the cost of the deductible is essential to being prepared when a storm strikes.

Flood coverage is never included in the basic home insurance policy. Florida residents are encouraged to purchase flood insurance that will cover the cost of water pushed ashore as a hurricane makes landfall. Because most of Florida is near sea level, flooding is very common even with heavy rainstorms that can last for days at a time.

The Citizens Property Insurance Corporation was formed to underwrite home insurance policies for homeowners who reside within the wind-borne debris region, which covers the entire Florida beachfront area. Whenever a homeowner has become uninsurable by standard definition, the CPIC will assist the resident in constructing an affordable insurance policy to cover their property.

Extended replacement cost coverage was developed to insure against the rising cost of labor and materials in the aftermath of a major storm. Residents often encounter building material shortages that cause prices to soar when the repairs must be completed in a timely manner. This special form of Florida home insurance is added to policies in various areas of the state.

Three different Florida home insurance policy packages exist to define the exact coverage levels for certain threats. Broad form (HO-2) insurance will cover vandalism, fire or lightning, hail and windstorm explosion, and other perils that are naturally occurring. Special form (HO-3) is the most popular type of home insurance and covers the property against every threat that is not excluded specifically by the documentation. Modified Coverage Form (HO-8) is a narrower insurance policy limited to riot or civil commotion, vehicle damage, aircraft, theft, and certain natural disasters.

Insurance agents work directly with the insurance providers to construct policies that cover property as replacement costs rise. Experienced agents will monitor the coverage limits and remind the homeowner to make changes as necessary. When purchasing Florida home insurance, consult with a reputable agent to ensure your property is covered against the most common perils.
